Gill Fishing, the technical and lifestyle apparel manufacturer for anglers, has launched a technical apparel collection. The warm-weather collection features XPEL technology, a plant-based fabric treatment that shields away water, blood, oil, and muck without changing the breathability or feel of the four-way stretch fabric and delivers 50+ UV protection.
“The fishing market is saturated with summer clothing, but performance seems to be an afterthought. So, we designed a clothing system that elevates fishing performance and protects anglers from the sun. The XPEL technology doesn’t just protect the anglers, it protects clothing from stains, which ultimately extends its lifespan,” said Dominic McCarthy, commercial director, Gill North America. “That said, we didn’t ignore style, either.”
The XPEL Tec collection for men and women includes a Hoody, Long-Sleeve Shirt, Excursion Shorts, Pro Expedition Shorts, Gloves, and Gaitor.
