Baltimore Ravens Hope to Light Up the Scoreboard and Sky With LEDs Sunday Night

The Baltimore Ravens are planning to give their home crowd a lead and LEDs when they play the Cleveland Browns Sunday night in primetime.

In another iteration of fan engagement, spectators who arrive Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium will be handed LED wristbands developed by the pixel technology company PixMob.

According to WBAL-TV in Baltimore, the wirelessly-controlled, various-colored wristbands will be activated if or when the Ravens score and also during the halftime show. After the game, fans will be asked to return the LED bands so they can be recycled.

"We've been doing a lot of fun stuff for our night games because we have the ability to turn out our lights, and we had two night games earlier this year, and we were just trying to think of ways to take it up a notch," Ravens' senior vice president of marketing Brad Downs told WBAL. "The priority is the game, but whatever we can do to add to the atmosphere and the home field advantage is what we're trying to do."
