Financing
The team must pay the city $22 million over 20 years to cover the debt on revenue bonds issued to build the ballpark. Most of that comes from an eight percent ticket surcharge and one percent surcharge on food and beverages. A $3 per car parking fee generates another $600,000 a year. Pct. public: 100
Harbor Park was part of the riverfront development plan for the city. The $18 million,12,000-seat ballpark design allows for expansion to 18,000 seats and includes a 250-seat stadium club. There's a waiting list for luxury suites, but two suites are kept open for rental, with the 12-seat renting for $300 and the 24-seat for $450. A patio area hosts 30 persons for $300. Food is extra.
