3/7/2024 |  Wichita to Host Major League Table Tennis Event (SportsTravel) Visit Wichita and Wichita State University will host a Major League Table Tennis event in Wichita for the first time April 5–7, 2024, at Charles Koch Arena on the campus of Wichita State University.
MLTT features players representing 40 countries. They compete in a team format that concludes with the Golden Game, a race to 21 points where every member of each five-person team rotates every four points. Wichita is hosting the league’s West Division.

12/15/2023 |  West Monroe to Host 2024 U.S. Table Tennis Olympic Trials (SportsTravel) The 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials for table tennis and the U.S. Junior National Table Tennis Team Trials will be held March 19–31, 2024, at West Monroe Sports and Events in Louisiana.
Discover Monroe, the city of West Monroe and West Monroe Sports and Events Center will host over 100 players aiming for spots on Team USA for the 2024 Olympic Summer Games in Paris. The U.S. Junior National Team Trials will attract over 250 youth players from across the country to battle for national team status.

11/6/2023 |  2024 U.S. National Table Tennis Championships Headed to Huntsville (SportsTravel) The 2024 U.S. National Table Tennis Championships will be held in the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama, from July 3–7, the first time in USA Table Tennis’ history that the national championships have gone to the state of Alabama.

11/2/2023 |  One-armed table tennis player eyes both Olympics and Paralympics (Associated Press (AP)) SANTIAGO, Chile (AP) — Bruna Alexandre wants to break barriers and spend a lot of time in Paris next year.
The one-armed table tennis player, who starts competing at the Pan American Games on Thursday, is trying to make Brazil’s team for both the Olympics and the Paralympics in Paris, meaning she’ll be in France training and playing from late July until early September.

8/25/2023 |  London to Host International Table Tennis Federation 2026 World Championship (SportsTravel) London will host the 2026 International Table Tennis Federation World Championship Finals, 100 years after it hosted the inaugural event.
Delegates at the ITTF’s annual general meeting in Bangkok approved the bid for 2026, which will feature 64 teams for the first time.
“This is the most fantastic news we could have wished for,” said Adrian Christy, chief executive officer of Table Tennis England. “The global table tennis family has put its faith in Table Tennis England to deliver a memorable championships in London and I can promise that is exactly what we will do. To bring the centenary World Championships back to the city where it all began is a huge honor and a massive boost for the sport in this country.”
