Additional investors include actor Glen Powell, actor and Wrexham AFC co-owner Rob McElhenney, Carolyn Tisch Blodgett’s Next 3, and David Blitzer’s Bolt Ventures. After taking a minority stake in PLL and the Women’s Lacrosse League last year as part of a five-year media rights extension, ESPN bought an additional stake in the business in this round.

4/15/2026 |  Nike to Sponsor Professional Lacrosse Leagues (SGB UPDATE) Nike signed on as the Official Apparel Partner for the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) and Women’s Lacrosse League (WLL), replacing Champion.
Beginning with the 2026 season, Nike will design and produce on-field uniforms and sideline apparel for PLL and WLL teams, along with select fan merchandise collections. PLL and WLL athletes will also have access to Nike footwear and lacrosse equipment.
