12/16/2024 |  World Archery Names World Cup Final Hosts Through 2028 (SportsTravel) World Archery will host its world cup final in 2025 in Nanjing, China, before going to Mexico for the world cup final in 2026 through 2028, the executive board has announced.
Next year’s event in Nanjing will mark the first time that a city in China has hosted the Hyundai Archery World Cup Final. The date is not officially set for the event, which is the end of a five-event schedule that starts April 8 in Haines City, Florida.
12/5/2024 |  USA Archery Target Nationals & U.S. Open Headed to Springfield (SportsTravel) The 141st USA Archery Target Nationals & U.S. Open will be organized in Springfield, Missouri, at Betty & Bobby Allison Sports Town, a complex that includes 12 outdoor sports fields over its 82 acres.
The nation’s best archers next year will compete from August 13–16. The 2025 Nationals take place a few days before the World Archery Youth Championship in Winnipeg, Canada, and a few weeks prior to the World Archery Championships and the World Archery Para Championships, both of which will be in Korea.

In a media release, the company said it is “dedicated to transforming the archery experience, going beyond traditional upgrades to bring cutting-edge advancements to the sport.” The company also noted that its flagship products feature bows manufactured with Magnite, a proprietary alloy that “represents one of the most significant breakthroughs in archery materials in over a decade.”
11/4/2024 |  Survey: More Than Half of Students Grades 4 to 12 Would Recommend Archery (SGB UPDATE) The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) released its 2024 NASP student survey results—the second from the largest worldwide youth archery organization, which reports introducing “23.5 million students to the sport of archery.” 
12/4/2023 |  Bigshot Archery Acquires Delta McKenzie Targets (SGB UPDATE) Bigshot Archery LLC acquired Delta McKenzie Targets, a division of Easton.
Bigshot Archery supplies archery targets for shooting sports, including crossbows. Delta McKenzie is known for its line of 3D targets used by the ASA competition circuit and archery clubs.
Bigshot said in a release that acquiring Delta McKenzie, with its production facility located in Iowa, would add production capacity to Bigshot’s RealWild 3D targets, Titan foam targets and the Iron Man crossbow target line.
