11/4/2024 |  Survey: More Than Half of Students Grades 4 to 12 Would Recommend Archery (SGB UPDATE) The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) released its 2024 NASP student survey results—the second from the largest worldwide youth archery organization, which reports introducing “23.5 million students to the sport of archery.” 
12/4/2023 |  Bigshot Archery Acquires Delta McKenzie Targets (SGB UPDATE) Bigshot Archery LLC acquired Delta McKenzie Targets, a division of Easton.
Bigshot Archery supplies archery targets for shooting sports, including crossbows. Delta McKenzie is known for its line of 3D targets used by the ASA competition circuit and archery clubs.
Bigshot said in a release that acquiring Delta McKenzie, with its production facility located in Iowa, would add production capacity to Bigshot’s RealWild 3D targets, Titan foam targets and the Iron Man crossbow target line.

The rebrand comes at an important time as USA Archery aims to significantly grow the sport leading to and through the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.
The new clean and modern brand logo is rooted in archery’s history of innovation, inclusivity and community.
11/11/2022 |  Des Moines to Host 2023 Youth Archery National Championship (SportsTravel) The 2023 USA Archery Junior Olympic Archery Development Target Nationals will take place in Des Moines, Iowa, July 12–16, at James W. Cownie Soccer Park.
More than 700 archers ages 8–20 will be competing at the event, which is a USA Archery sanctioned event open to youth archers competing in the recurve, compound, fixed pins and barebow divisions. The event includes two days of qualifications and a single day of eliminations, followed by a day of team competition.
