Financing
Pennsylvania provided a $25 million grant toward the construction of the $75 million arena. Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Co. invested $10 million with the rest paid by Dauphin County.
The Bears moved into a new arena in 2002. The Venue is operated by Hershey Sports and Entertainment which owned the team's previous venue. The old arena will be retained for other uses.
