The Peoria Civic Center Arena is home to the Rivermen, af2 Pirates and also hosts Bradley University basketball. There are no suites and no plans for changes to the facility.
The city has been discussing a new building for several years and has identified all but about $6 million needed for the project. A ticket surcharge, naming rights or luxury suite revenue could be used to fill the gap.
