Financing
The CAN$23 million cost of the building was divided equally between the city and Vestar Facility Management. The building was constructed on a fast track that saw the opening just 53 weeks from groundbreaking. Pct. public: 50
Voters approved a new 4,250-seat arena in 1999 to be funded through a combination of public and private money. In addition to the arena, the Venue features retail space and a fitness center.
