The Wells Fargo Center is home to the NBA 76ers as well as the NHL Flyers. Once called the CoreStates Center, the name was changed in 1998 because CoreStates was purchased by another financial company, First Union. The name changed again in 2003 following another acquisition.
The most recent change came in 2010 whn the name changed after Wachovia was acquired by Wells Fargo.
The facility has 1,500 club box seats. One third of the club box seats can be purchased for Flyers games or 76ers games only. Each club box contains 90 to 150 seats and has its own bar/lounge area and rest room. (Basketball, Facilities, Financial, NBA, Professional Sports)
