The Triple-A Wranglers moved to Northwest Arkansas and the Wingnuts appeared in 2008 as an American League replacement. Attendance figures before 2008 reflect the Wrangers’ performance.
Lawrence-Dumont Stadium was built in 1934 and renovated in both 1988 and 2001. The most recent work brought in a new scoreboard and video board, an improved outfield wall and new landscaping. In 1994 the capacity was reduced slightly as bleacher seats were replaced with seat back chairs. The ballpark includes both luxury suites and club seating. Season tickets are sold with the option of buying tickets for the National Baseball Congress World Series which is always held in Wichita. Most season ticket holders buy them, but the prices above are for the standard season. (Baseball, Facilities, Financial, IndyLeagueVenueReport, Professional Sports)
