After the 2002 season, Shreveport lost its team to Frisco, Texas. In 2003, the CPBL moved a new team into the venue.
The ballpark got some structural work in 1998 to alleviate some mud problems around the park. The facility has one large party suite which holds 125 people. Part of that area is sold as season tickets and the rest on a game basis. In 1999 the party suite was updated. The press box was moved on top of the party suite.
