The Peoria Civic Center Arena is home to the Rivermen and also hosts Bradley University basketball.
The city has been discussing a new building for several years and has identified all but about $6 million needed for the project. A ticket surcharge, naming rights or luxury suite revenue could be used to fill the gap.
