Financing
The $22 million venue was built with $5 million in public money and the balance coming from RG Properties, a Vancouver real estate firm. The city gets ice time to use for city programs.
The Rockets moved into a new arena in 1999. A restaurant in the arena is partially reserved for club seat holders while the public has access to the other half.
