Financing
The new arena was built with CAN$38.5 million in public money and CAN$20 million in private money to True North. Another CAN$66 million came from private financing for the CAN$125 million arena.

The Moose moved into a brand new building in 2004. The Jets came in 2011 from Atlanta.
True North Sports & Entertainment Limited is the owner, developer, and operator of Winnipeg’s downtown multi-purpose sports and entertainment center.
In 2003, True North acquired the ownership of the Moose hockey franchise to create a single ownership entity for the new facility and the team, which has been the facility's anchor tenant since the building opened in Fall 2004. (Facilities, Financial, Ice Hockey, NHL, Professional Sports, Venue)
