The $130 million complex at Cal State Dominguez Hills in Carson was originally called the Home Depot National Training Center. The deal called for $30 million in building materials to be purchased from Home Depot. StubHub took over rights in 2013. The price and term were not disclosed.
The complex was developed by the Anschutz Entertainment Group which is also considering adding a velodrome for USA Cycling athletes. The San Diego Chargers have agreed to move their training camp to the facility. (Facilities, MLS, Professional Sports, Soccer Venue)
