Financing
The C$64.9 million venue was funded by the city.
The team sponsors a skills contest each year near Christmas time and it boosts attendance by 1,500 for the event.
Naming rights have been purchased for C$1.62 million by the Windsor Family Credit Union for the team’s new arena, now under construction.
The funds will be paid quarterly over 10 years to the city in an agreement reached between the city, credit union and the Windsor Spitfires – the main tenant of the sport complex.
