The arena in Medicine Hat completed a three-year renovation plan to upgrade the facility. Seat renovations were made in 2000 but no additional seats or luxury boxes are scheduled to be added.
The Medicine Hat city council has agreed to set aside C$20 million in savings toward a new facility.
