Financing
The city sold $60.8 million in bonds to finance the ballpark. The bonds will be repaid with hotel occupancy taxes, lease payments, ticket surcharges and parking fees. MountainStar’s annual rent payment to the city for use of the ballpark is $400,000 a year and escalates 10 percent every five years. The term of the lease and non-relocation agreement is 30 years.
