The city issued a $26 million tax incremental district bond to help fund the $90 million arena and improvements.
EnergySolutions Arena, formerly the Delta Center, resembles an office building rather than a state-of-the-art NBA arena, has 56 luxury suites on its fourth level. The arena also has a "100 Club," which is a private membership club. Available to 50 members, the "100 Club" offers seats within the first five rows of the arena at a cost ranging from $6,182 to $12,628 per season. There is also a special restaurant for "100 Club" members.
In addition to serving as home of the NBA Jazz, the venue is home to the WNBA Starzz and hosted the 1999 U.S. Figure Skating National Championships, considered a warm-up for the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
The Jazz has 12 sign availabilities on the scorers' table for $50,000 to $75,000 each; twelve availabilities on rotating signs for $20,000 to $25,000 each; and 39 in-arena signs for $38,000 to $160,000 a year. (Basketball, Facilities, NBA, Professional Sports, Venue)
